KES-2025: Call for Papers

General Information

Papers are invited for KES2025 on topics lying within the scope of the conference. All contributions must be original, of high quality, and must not have been previously published or be intended for publication elsewhere.

All papers will be reviewed by members of the International Programme Committee and selected for oral or poster presentation, and publication in the conference proceedings.

Publication Details

Full papers that are accepted and presented will be published in Elsevier's Procedia Computer Science open access journal, available in ScienceDirect. They will also be submitted for indexing/abstracting in CPCi (ISI conferences and part of Web of Science), Engineering Index, and Scopus. Authors of selected papers may be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for publication as full journal papers, for example in the KES Journal or other journals.

Submission Instructions

• Submissions must be complete papers (no abstract submission stage).
• Submit papers as PDF documents through the EasyChair online submission and review system.
• Full papers should be detailed academic articles, with a guide length of 8 to 10 pages (maximum).

Procedia Proceedings Requirements

To ensure publication in the Procedia proceedings:

• No changes may be made to the Procedia template, and instructions must be followed exactly.
• The maximum length of 10 pages must not be exceeded.
• The paper must be presented at the conference.
• Authors are responsible for ensuring their paper contains no errors. Elsevier will publish what they receive, and proofs will not be sent to authors.
• Failure to adhere to these conditions may result in the paper not being published in Procedia Energy.

Copyright

Elsevier has automated the exclusive license transfer process. A copy of the online form will be sent to authors during production. For copyright-related queries, contact oxfordcopyrights@elsevier.com.

Submission Conditions

• All oral and poster papers must be presented by an author who registers for the conference and pays the fee.
• By submitting a paper, authors undertake that, if accepted, they will pay the fee, attend, and present the paper.
• Submission also indicates acceptance of the KES Terms and Conditions.

• Final paper publication files to be received by: 9 June 2025

Registration Deadlines

• Early / Authors Registration Deadline: 9 June 2025
  • Reduced registration fees apply before this deadline.
  • Payment must be RECEIVED by this date to avoid late fees.

Inclusion of Papers in the Elsevier Procedia Proceedings:

Every paper for the General Track or Invited Sessions must have at least one author who has registered for the conference with payment by the Early Registration Deadline for the paper to appear in the proceedings. Any paper that does not have at least one author who has registered and paid by this deadline will be withdrawn from the proceedings.
