CCGrid 2025 will be held from May 19-22, 2025, in Tromsø, Norway, featuring keynotes, technical presentations, posters, workshops, and the SCALE challenge, with a focus on societal challenges like sustainability, security, and AI.
Call For Papers: IEEE International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Internet Computing (CCGrid)
The IEEE International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud, and Internet Computing (CCGrid) is a leading forum for disseminating and discussing research activities in distributed systems. CCGrid 2025 will be held from May 19 to 22, 2025, in Tromsø, Norway. The conference aims to foster discussion on a broad range of topics related to computing clusters, widely distributed clouds, and Internet computing paradigms (like fog/edge computing for IoT), with applications to societal challenges such as sustainability, security, and AI.
Topics of Interest
Specific topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:
- Track 1: Hardware Systems and Networking: hardware architecture, networking of data centers, virtualized hardware, Open hardware architectures.
- Track 2: Software Systems and Platforms: Programming models and runtime systems, resource management and scheduling, service-oriented architectures, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, monitoring and evaluation tools, analysis of system/application performance.
- Track 3: Machine Learning (ML) for Systems and Systems for ML: abstraction, architecture, design, and implementation supporting machine learning and artificial intelligence applications; use of ML/AI applications to enhance performance of cluster, cloud, and Internet-computing systems; ML/AI techniques for workload prediction, application scheduling, resource placement, and resilience.
- Track 4: Future Compute Continuum and Seamless Ecosystems: Internet computing frontiers, Future Internet, Osmotic computing, Post- and Non-Von Neumann computing, Quantum computing.
- Track 5: Sustainable IT Systems: abstraction, architecture, design, and implementation; ultra-low power systems architectures; optimization and analysis in green computing; environment-friendly computing ecosystems; power, cooling, and thermal awareness; green edge, IoT, Cloud, datacenter, and supercomputers.
- Track 6: Applications and Workflows: Data science, Machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, Cyber-physical systems, e-Health, Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart systems and applications.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit papers electronically via the submission link: https://site.uit.no/ccgrid2025/paper-submission/
- Peer Review: All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on correctness, originality, technical strength, significance, quality of presentation, and relevance to conference topics.
- Double-Blind Submission: Submissions need to be double-blinded. Authors should not reveal their identity in their submissions. References to past work must be in a third-person form.
- Length Limit: Submitted manuscripts should not exceed 10 letter size pages (8.5 x 11, IEEE format for conference proceedings), including figures, tables, and references. Authors may purchase up to two additional pages beyond the original 10 pages (excluding references) for the final accepted manuscript.
- Originality: Original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal is expected. Papers under active review elsewhere will be rejected without review.
- Format: Submissions must adhere to the IEEE format for conference proceedings.
- Publication: The proceedings will be published through the IEEE Press and made available online through the IEEE Digital Library.
