CLOSER 2026: Call for Papers

The International Conference on Cloud Computing and Services Science (CLOSER) focuses on the highly important area of Cloud Computing, inspired by latest advances in infrastructure, operations, and services, with a strong link to Services Science. The conference explores how Cloud Computing can catalyze creativity and produce competitive advantage, covering topics related to 'Externalization of IT', such as anything as a service (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), On Demand delivery, outsourcing, and edge cloud.

Paper Submission

Authors can submit their work as a complete paper (Regular Paper or Position Paper) or an abstract. Accepted abstracts are presented but not published in the proceedings.

  • Regular Paper: Represents completed and validated research.
  • Position Paper: Portrays a short report of work in progress or an arguable opinion.
  • Submissions must be in English, carefully checked for grammar and spelling.
  • Papers should clearly indicate their technical/scientific contribution and applicability.
  • Double-blind paper evaluation method: Authors must NOT include author details, acknowledgments, or any reference that may disclose identity.
  • Only original papers should be submitted. Adhere to INSTICC's ethical norms regarding plagiarism.
  • All papers must be submitted through the online submission platform PRIMORIS.
  • Follow instructions and templates found under Guidelines and Templates.

Publications

  • All accepted complete papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN reference, on paper and digital support.
  • SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef, and papers are given a DOI.
  • Proceedings will be submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DBLP, Semantic Scholar, EI, and Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
  • A short list of best papers will be invited for a post-conference special issue of the Springer Nature Computer Science Journal.
  • Revised and extended versions of presented papers are planned for publication with Springer in a CCIS Series book (final approval pending).
