WMSCI 2025: Call for Papers

The 29th World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (WMSCI 2025) will be held in Orlando, Florida, USA from September 9-12, 2025, organized by IIIS.

WMSCI 2025 is an international forum promoting discussions between researchers and practitioners across disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary areas.

Purpose

The purpose of WMSCI 2025 is to foster discussions and interactions among researchers and practitioners. The conference is focused on both disciplinary research and multi, inter, and trans-disciplinary studies and projects.

Ways of Participation

WMSCI 2025 offers both Face-to-Face and Virtual Participation.

• Face-to-Face Participation: For presenters who will attend the conference in person.
• Virtual Participation: For presenters who will be unable to attend the conference in person. Submissions made for Virtual Participation will undergo the same reviewing processes as regular papers.

Submission Options

There are several submission options available:

• FA: A Draft Paper (2000-5000 words), for face-to-face participation.
• FB: An Extended Abstract (600-2000 words), for face-to-face participation.
• FC: An Abstract written for Inter-Disciplinary Communication (300-600 words), for face-to-face participation.
• VA: A Draft Paper (2000-5000 words), for virtual participation.
• VB: An Extended Abstract (600-2000 words), for virtual participation.

Note: Title, authors, and references are not included in the word count.

Reviewing Process

All submissions will undergo a rigorous three-stage review process:

1. Double-blind review (at least three reviewers)
2. Non-blind review
3. Participative peer reviews

Final acceptance depends on all three kinds of reviews. A recommendation to accept made by non-blind reviewers is a necessary, but not sufficient, condition. A submission should also have a majority of its double-blind reviewers recommending its acceptance.

Publication

Authors of the best 25%-30% of the papers presented at the conference (including those virtually presented) will be invited to adapt their papers for publication in the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics.

August 7th, 2025	Submission of camera-ready or final versions of the accepted papers.
September 4th, 2025	Upload a Presentation and/or Schedule a Zoom Presentation (Presentations should be received/scheduled no later than September 4th, 2025)
September 9th, 2025	Conference Starts
September 12th, 2025	Conference Ends
