DATE 2025: Call for Papers
The Design, Automation and Test in Europe Conference (DATE) 2025 is the main European event for electronic system design and test, taking place from March 31 to April 2, 2025, in Lyon, France.
The conference brings together designers, design automation users, researchers, and vendors, focusing on ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware, embedded systems, and embedded software. DATE 2025 features a conference with regular papers, late breaking results papers, and extended abstracts, complemented by keynotes, special days, focus sessions, embedded tutorials, workshops, and multi-partner project sessions.

The Conference
DATE addresses all aspects of research into technologies for electronic and (embedded) systems engineering, including the design process, test, and tools for design automation of electronic products. The conference scope covers challenging application fields such as sustainable computing, smart societies, digital wellness, secure systems, autonomous systems, smart industry, and artificial intelligence.

Submission Instructions

- File Format: PDF
- Maximum Pages: 6 pages + 1 extra page for references.
- Review Process: Double-blind review; manuscripts must not include authors' names or affiliations. Prior work by authors should be referenced in a way that does not disclose identity.
- Format: A4 or Letter pages, double column, single spaced, Times or equivalent font (min 10pt). Avoid type-3 fonts and baseline stretch. Do not include page numbers or copyright notices.
- Templates: Available on the DATE website (Microsoft Word and LaTeX).
- Topic Selection: Select the most appropriate primary and secondary topics during submission.
Late Breaking Results (LBR)
- Submission Title: Must begin with "Late Breaking Results: …".
- Paper Length: 2 pages, two-column format.

Registration Rule for All Accepted Papers
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference at the paper author rate.
- It is mandatory that at least one author attends the session and presents the work. Failure to do so will result in the paper being withdrawn from the proceedings.
Focus Sessions, Tutorials, Workshops, and Projects
- Focus Sessions: Proposals (up to 1,500 words) due Friday, 11 October 2024. For panels and hot-topic sessions.
- Embedded Tutorials: Proposals due Thursday, 31 October 2024. Aim for 90-minute sessions.
- Workshops: Proposals due Friday, 11 October 2024. Half-day workshops on emerging topics.
- Multi-Partner Projects: Abstracts due Tuesday, 29 October 2024; Full papers due Tuesday, 05 November 2024. For projects funded by EU, national, or industry schemes.
Young People Programme (YPP)
DATE 2025 includes various activities for students and young researchers:
