SAMI 2025: Call for Papers

The IEEE 23rd World Symposium on Applied Machine Intelligence and Informatics (SAMI 2025) invites authors to submit original and unpublished papers for the conference to be held on January 23-25, 2025, in Stará Lesná, Slovakia.

Introduction

SAMI 2025 is a premier event focused on the application of Machine Intelligence and Informatics. It highlights the importance of Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies in building autonomous systems and their integration within the Ambient Intelligence (AmI) framework.

Scope

Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies are crucial for developing intelligent systems with autonomous behavior, enabling learning and adaptability in diverse environments. The conference embraces the Ambient Intelligence (AmI) approach, aiming to integrate these technologies into everyday life.

Submission Guidelines

Paper Format and Length

• Authors must submit their full paper electronically until October 11, 2024.
• Papers should be in IEEE standard double-column format.
• The minimum length is 4 full pages, and the maximum length is 6 pages.
• Please do NOT insert header, footer, and page numbers.

Submission System

• The paper collecting site is IEEE PDF eXpress.
• Conference ID: 63904X
• Authors MUST use IEEE PDF eXpress to submit the final paper. Click on the provided picture to log on.
• After the paper status is 'Pass', please click 'Approve' in the Action field to change the status to 'Approved'.
• The EasyChair submission system is closed. The final paper collection system is IEEE PDF eXpress.

Important Policies

Authors will not be informed if the paper fails either IEEE PDF check or plagiarism check or prohibited authors list. The paper will automatically be removed from the final program and from conference proceedings on December 21 without any notice.

If the paper is not original, not authors' own work, or submitted to other conferences or journals, or a copy of another paper, then the paper is removed at once. Copying from an author's own paper is also not allowed.

The paper may be checked against plagiarism at any time during the review process from paper submission until publication.

At least one author of a paper must show up and present the paper at the conference. 'Pay to publish' is not allowed by IEEE.

Publication

Conference proceedings that meet IEEE quality review standards may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference if it is not presented.
